Technology that doesn't lie. Our Mobile Lab

With this equipment base, our car computer diagnostics are carried out to dealership level. The same set allows us to precisely measure EV battery degradation and distinguish a real fault from guesswork. In practice this also means active tests on active testing, analysis of communication errors and ECU topology and catching bad grounds and voltage drops, and on the HV and post-repair side also component insulation testing before installation and qualification for post-module-replacement procedures.

CEM DT5302 milliohmmeter measuring battery terminal resistance — milliohm reading on screen

CEM DT5302 (digital milliohmmeter)

What it is: Precision low-resistance meter for verifying contacts, ground connections and wiring harnesses.

Benefit for you: Instead of guessing whether the ground is good, we measure resistance to milliohm accuracy — no more phantom faults from corroded contacts.

Autel MV480 endoscope — probe in spark plug hole with cylinder interior view on screen

Autel MV480 (dual-cam endoscope)

What it is: Dual-lens inspection endoscope with LED lighting for cylinder interiors, turbochargers, channels and wiring harnesses.

Benefit for you: We see cylinder condition (carbon deposits, scoring), turbocharger wheel and wiring in hard-to-reach areas — without disassembling the engine.

Smoke generator connected to engine intake — smoke escaping from a leak

Smoke generator

What it is: Device feeding non-toxic smoke into sealed systems (intake, EVAP, exhaust). Locates leaks visually in minutes.

Benefit for you: Instead of replacing gaskets on a guess, we see exactly where air is escaping. No more misfires and Check Engine from unmetered air.

Pressure test kit gauge on hybrid coolant reservoir — cooling system leak test

Cooling system pressure test kit

What it is: We pressurise the cooling circuit and monitor pressure drop — detecting micro-leaks before they cause HV battery overheating.

Benefit for you: A coolant leak in a hybrid thermal system is an expensive repair. We catch it before the battery starts to overheat.

Torque wrench tightening HV connector bolt on battery module — hand in insulating glove

Precision torque wrenches (including low torque)

What it is: Set of torque wrenches with low-torque ranges — for small HV connector bolts, battery modules and delicate components.

Benefit for you: Every HV connector and battery module bolt is tightened to OEM-specified torque — not by feel.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is AVILOO and why is it so important?+

AVILOO is an independent technology from Austria. It is the gold standard for determining the State of Health (SOH) of traction batteries. The equipment provides an undeniable, certified report on how degraded the main battery is.

What do you use an oscilloscope for in car repair?+

An OBD tester shows a fault code after a delay. An oscilloscope (e.g. PicoScope) lets us 'see' current in real time. By analysing the electromagnetic waveform, we know whether a specific transistor in the inverter has failed before the car's main computer even notices.

What does the Autel MaxiSYS Ultra S2 give you beyond a standard OBD scanner?+

Full system scan, ECU topology, live data, freeze frame, active tests and post-repair procedures. This means we don't just look at a single fault code, but at the relationships between modules, system responses and the conditions under which the symptom occurs.

What do you use the Uni-T UT511 insulation tester for on EVs and HEVs?+

The Uni-T UT511 is used for the HV insulation test (up to 1000V DC), leakage localisation and safe checking of HV components and cables. It is a dedicated insulation tester with insulation resistance measurement up to 100 GΩ at test voltages of 250V/500V/1000V.

Why do you need the PS100 when you already have a large diagnostic computer?+

Because the computer shows the ECU logic, while the PS100 lets you quickly check the circuit physically: power supply, ground, relay, fuse (in-circuit test without removing), short (localisation without blowing more fuses) or an open circuit. It measures DC voltage up to 70V and activates components (pumps, fans) directly from the probe. These small electrical issues often mimic expensive ECU and component failures.

Does MaxiFlash mean you do ECU flashing on all brands?+

We don't communicate it that way. The equipment provides procedural and qualification capabilities for selected online workflows, but everything depends on the brand, coverage, OEM access and the specific case. We honestly discuss codings, adaptations and post-module-replacement procedure qualification.

What does the Prodig-Tech GL-PRO-6-F do and how is it different from a standard paint gauge?+

A standard paint gauge only shows coating thickness. GL-PRO-6-F goes further — it identifies the substrate metal (ferrous vs non-ferrous). This lets us detect replaced body panels and repairs on different metals, even when the paint thickness itself looks normal.

Why do you use a smoke generator in automotive diagnostics?+

A smoke generator is one of the fastest tools for locating leaks in the intake system, EVAP or exhaust. We feed non-toxic smoke into a closed system and see exactly where it escapes — no guessing from DTC codes. It eliminates the cause of misfires, Check Engine and fuel mixture problems.

What can you see with the Autel MV480 endoscope in a car?+

The Autel MV480 is a dual-camera inspection endoscope with LED lighting. We use it to look inside cylinders (carbon deposits, scratches, valve condition), check the turbocharger wheel without dismantling, assess wiring harnesses in hard-to-reach places and verify HV connectors. It's like an 'X-ray of the engine' without dismantling half the car.

What is the CEM DT5302 milliohm meter used for?+

The CEM DT5302 is a precision low-resistance meter that measures the quality of electrical connections to milliohm accuracy. We use it to check battery terminals, ground connections, connector contacts and harnesses. A corroded contact with a resistance of a few milliohms can generate a cascade of phantom errors in the electronics — this meter pinpoints it.
