Code C1100 signals a fault in the electrical circuit of the ABS hydraulic pump switch, which may completely disable the anti-lock braking system. Symptoms

Illuminated ABS warning light on the dashboard; possible illumination of the ESP/DSC/VSC warning light; ABS system may be completely disabled; lack of pressure modulation during hard braking; the vehicle may behave like a car without ABS during emergency braking; possible longer stopping distance on slippery surfaces.
