Code P0900 indicates a detected fault in the clutch actuator's electrical circuit – most commonly a break in the wiring or a faulty actuator. The vehicle may not move or operate in limp mode, limiting driving to a minimum. Due to the complexity of the drivetrain system, diagnostics should be entrusted to a specialized service center with the appropriate scanner.
Symptoms
Inability to engage a gear or sudden clutch disengagement; vehicle may not move or get stuck in one gear. MIL (Check Engine) light on, neutral gear indicator (N) may flash on the display. Transmission enters limp mode. In vehicles with an automated manual transmission (AMT/robot), lack of smooth gear changes or complete drivetrain lockup.
